THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THE MOON

Hey Guys
Would like to share this pic with you all....
Aim for the stars and thats where you get...
Dont get any closer till then..............

Trek to Savari Falls

Finally the rains have come in.. relief from the heat but the humidity still sucks...
But rains have not kept our spirits down.. our gang of 3 is still doing the much needed exploring. And we have only got better. Now we explore on our feet. We had the shaddy Geek MR. DEVARAYASAMUDRAM VIJAYKUMAR VIKRAM in Goa ( DV I hope I m getting it right )
Well he is the most wanted guy around for those bunch of Loyalites. I have just got to know him a little better this time when he was doing nothing in Goa, untill then all I knew about him was """GEEEEEEEEEEEK""". Ooopss the software guys dont like this term but I guess its OK. We in Goa dont run the fear of being mobbed by the GEEKs.

Getting back to where we started. We had the Shaddy Geek DV, the Business ty'c'oon KAKs ( 'C' could be replaced with 'ph'), the official Printer PRAGGY, THE DITCHER -SURDS and myself the 'ORIGINAL TRANSPORTER'. It was a busy sunday for me but the Guys managed to coax me into this Trekking trip.. so i decided to screw up with some work( hoping my dad never reads this) and get along with the BOYZ.

This was the trek to the Savari Falls situated in the Sanguem Taluka of Goa. Most aptly located in South Goa's green Hills bordering with Karnataka. We had no clue it would be a great trek till we lost out way and had to wade thorugh ankle deep stream to reach the waterfalls.

Kaks must have had some real fun for this was his first time with the BOYZ after he has been married. Once we were at the Falls, Praggy, Kaks and myself made up our mind on some splash into the pool.

Guys catch up with some pics here..Hope you enjoy them

Our Local Guide... He did a wonderful job. Picked him up at the local village along the trek..

I have no clue what this is. Well to me it seemed like a wild crow. It was as big as a vulture but looked more like a crow.

Vasant Bhandara...

Vasant Bhandara is the water reservoir constructed by the Forest Dept for the Wild animals.

Real Wild...

The track that we took further to the sunset point. It is was a lil creepy...... Extremely dense forest. and absolutely no signs of anybody having come there for atleast a few months..

Catch of the Day...........

After a hard days slog for some wild animals we got to see this just as we were heading back to the main gate a lil disappointed. Well we could only say.. 'lucky'

Mom could i take a peek at those monkeys there???

We found this place on our way back. This is a small catchment area holding water from river Dudhsagar. The place is amazing. Its got about less than 20 mtr of water, Good for a cool swim,

Anybody for Beer????????

We found this Firang chick with her Goan Romeo exploring places. Well they decided to take a break. Brave ......

River Dudhsagar on ur way back....

Drive Back...

Sunset on our way back.......

Cananguinim Beach

The ferry which got us to the other side....

I am back..

More than a month -- OOps .I have not been anywhere just been here at this desk everyday but just the habit of postponing things. So many things done during the last one month. Well now I got some work to do updating this blog.

Well moving ahead in sequence... Lets start with the Cananguinim beach. I got onto this beach thanks to Anup & Parag. It was one of their finds.
Well Guys this is a Virgin beach. There is no commercial activity happening here. The water is known to hold some coral life under it. I managed to lay my hands on a piece of dead stinking coral.

Well check out the pics...

The ferry jetty at Cavelossim that would get us into Assolna-Betul stretch of Salcette. This is river Sal which has been the life line of Salcette for ages.

Good Morning INDIA....... well this is what took my sleep away this morning. A raised peek out of my bed and this is what you get to see. Wasnt planning on an early rise but just jumped straight out of my bed, freshhhhhh...THE PJ style and may be if he was here, we would have been sipping some HOT Tea by now. ( Well PJ is a pal in Bangalore , India, who never fails to rise before 6:00 am no matter what time he sleeps... i envy him for his sleep cycle... and now he is getting married... i dont know how he is gonna manage both.)
Well cool sunrise, but I dont know when this would be gone for the concrete jungle thats shaping up on the next block. Have a great day India......
